Responsible AI

How we build AI assistants that stay in their lane.

Last updated: 16 June 2026

SingaLabs builds AI assistants for administrative and sales workflows. We design them to be helpful, honest about their limits, and always supervised by people. This statement explains how.

Human oversight first

Every workflow keeps a human in control. Your team can take over any conversation, and we configure topics that always route to a person. The assistant is not "fully autonomous" — it is designed to know when to step back.

Confidence thresholds and escalation

When the assistant is uncertain, or an enquiry is ambiguous, it asks a clarifying question or escalates to a human rather than guessing. Your team is notified with the full context so they can pick up smoothly.

Restricted topics

We set explicit boundaries. The assistant does not provide financial, legal, medical or other regulated advice, diagnosis or triage. In regulated settings it supports administrative tasks only — such as booking, reminders and answering published FAQs — and routes anything beyond that to a person.

Honesty about being AI

The assistant does not pretend to be a specific human. It does not fabricate prices, availability, promises or results outside the rules you set.

Data minimisation and review

We collect only the data a workflow needs, configured around your stated purposes and retention preferences. Conversations are logged so you can review quality and so we can improve responses over time. See our Privacy Notice for how data is handled.

Your responsibilities

You remain responsible for the lawfulness of the data you collect and for obtaining consent for any marketing messages. We help you configure the workflow to support PDPA-aligned practices, but this is not legal advice or certification.

Limits we're upfront about

  • AI can make mistakes; that's why human escalation and monthly review exist.
  • Quality depends on the knowledge and rules we configure with you.
  • Third-party platforms (e.g. WhatsApp) set their own availability and terms.
